A graduate of Athens State University in Athens, Alabama, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Lisa Williams of Fayetteville, Tennessee, has more than 30 years of experience in the field.

In 1985, she began working as a program clerk for Fayetteville’s South Central Human Resource Agency. After being promoted to accounting technician and later to senior accountant, she eventually took on the role of assistant director of financial operations. In this position, she prepared financial reports for external auditors and conducted monthly and year-to-date closing of the general ledger, in addition to presenting bimonthly financial reports and participating on the Finance/Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

In her free time, Lisa Williams enjoys reading and is particularly fond of works by Nicholas Sparks, including The Notebook, Safe Haven, and A Walk to Remember. Also a sports fan, she supports the Atlanta Braves and the San Francisco 49ers. Active in her local community, she has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event.
